We’ve had a lot of people submitting their iPhone Apps to us recently, and that is awesome, 90% of these apps are well thought out and useful. 10% Aren’t. Take for example a website offering a similar service to this site, iphoneapplicationlist.com. They generally list the same sort of apps as we do but seem to let literally anything pass which ends up setting the bar very low for the standard for these apps. Take for example, one of their listings for an app called ‘My Custom Product List’ 

…is a great new iPhone application that allows you to design and order yourown customized T-Shirts and other apparel including mens t-shirts,women’s t-shirts and even baby and children’s t-shirts from your iPhone.  

So basically, a slightly reskinned Cafepress. Awesome.’iPhone Travel’ is another great example of this massive dumbing down of applications, a small front end to a travel site, poorly designed and pointless.These probably aren’t the sort of apps that Steve Jobs envisioned at the Apple keynote just a couple of weeks ago. iPhone has Safari for a reason - so that it can view the web without the need for special interfaces for the iPhone to be created.

At iPhoneApps.co.uk, you will find only the very best applications and the ones we beleive to be truly useful - we won’t bog you down with the crap like alot of sites similar to us will. Alot of the ‘apps’ coming out recently add nothing to the end user experience and generally detract from it. Let’s see some more truly great applications appearing from some very talented developers.
