iEventful, written by John Tantalo, runs of the Eventful API. From the front-end, you simply input the city you live and iEventful will pull in and sort any exciting (or non-exciting in my case) activities. Drilling down, the final screens contain basic locations, details and times of the event. I think this app would work well if you were in a new city looking for something off the beaten path–I certainly found things on here that despite living here for the past seven years, I didn’t know about. That said, the app is a little pokey because of the feed but it merited a bookmark from me.
