I’m probably a bigger baseball addict than most people, so I’m doubly pleased to report on MLB Mobile. Even though you can easily hit a number of sites to find the score of a particular game, you unfortunately sift through several pages to get there. MLB mobile takes you straight to the […]

Among the users standing in line waiting for the iPhone, very likely many of the poor huddled line holders and standers around were thinking of the social networking sites they may have left behind in the search for the best seat in line for the iPhone. Among the list of features for the iPhone, socialization […]

The iPhone is considered by many to be a revolutionary device in the hand held world, providing a phone, mp3 player and web communications device in one easy to use, extremely sleek package. But some dissenters continue to argue that the iPhone lacks software that is essential to it’s functionality as a hand held device, […]

Joe Hewitt has released everyone’s favorite debugging tool Firebug, in an iPhone-friendly way. There are complete instructions for installation and use from his site. Casual users will truly have no need for this but developers already accustomed to debugging with Firebug installing this puppy should be a no-brainer.

Built off the Fandango API, goMovies does exactly what you probably think it does: return showtimes and locations for movies. The input is a breeze–pop in your zip code and let it do the work. I would have thought by now there would a ton of these sites, as they’re relatively easy to […]

I admit when I first read about another Entertainment Portal I rolled my eyes envisioning the poor construction and stale ideas that typically are associated with the term “portal”. Not this time. Slonky has put together a surprisingly innovative entertainment package for the iPhone.
It’s broken into four sections: News, Games, Tools, […]

Efiko Software has released an iPhone ringtone generator. Effectively it takes an .mp3 file (not .aac as of yet) and chops it into a usable ringtone for the iPhone. Rather than having to pay for each ringtone you can simply use this to generate your own for a one-time fee of $9.95 (US). […]
