Running off (what I would suspect to be the Google Maps API), is iPhone Route, a very handy, very compact little app that lets you plug in two places and returns the step-by-step directions (sans map). Just for kicks I thought I would try to really test it out by only entering city names without any sort of qualifiers by state and it worked admirably. There are few apps that I would really want to give to my wife but this is one. Highly recommended.

This app looks pretty useful for users in US. Any chance of a version that works in Europe? Voice prompts would be even better.
Surely this is not an app; it’s a website. isn’t an app something you install and can use offline?
