So you want an application that actually does something? Something real? Something that can actually provide practical information and not just look pretty? Get iPhone Traffic now. Is it beautiful? No, no it’s not. If I lived in the UK would I use it every day? Absolutely. iPhone Traffic feeds traffic stats to help you choose the quickest route. It’s conveniently broken down by country/city/section and although I personally would have added a little bit of color to the words for at-a-glance-while-driving I would consider this one a must-have. Get it now.

Bit of (functional) colour added as suggested
Doesn’t seem to work for either Teesside or Tyneside. Which is a shame as I drive both the A1 and the A19 every day and this would be useful!
Developer has now fixed! Great support and great app
I try my best
Thanks to all those who’ve given me feedback (both of the “i like your app” and the “this doesnt work” variety) … everything that didn’t work that’s been reported now does - I do listen to feedback
What kind of developer are you…listening to feedback. Come on, now we know you’re lying
One that doesn’t work for Apple
?
I’m afraid my sites are one of the many in the UK that are being affected by the 123-reg.co.uk DNS outage ( See: http://www.iross.net/blog/2007/11/17/123reg-outage/ )
I believe that iapps.co.uk is now back up from most places, although some ISPs may still have incorrect DNS information cached - it definitely works on O2 EDGE for me
I’m in the process of moving all my DNS to another provider.
call me stupid if you want…. 1st time i used this website and i can’t see where i can click to download iphone traffic ?
is it free ?
You don’t download it–it’s run through: http://iapps.co.uk/traffic/#_home and yes, it is completely free to use.
Just wondering why there is no Nottingham/nottinghamshire??
